Tropical Storm Isaias hit Puerto Rico on Thursday leaving behind extensive flooding and damage.Ed Cruz who has lived in Central Florida sent us video of his now flooded hometown of Guánica.The last time we spoke to him was in January when his hometown was destroyed by earthquakes.“This is misery, over misery, Cruz said. "The power is out, it's raining. The wind is blowing. We have some wind gusts of probably like 40-45 mph," he said.Perhaps some of the worst flooding so far has been found on the west side of the island, in towns like Mayagüez. Puerto Rican Government officials say the Puerto Rico National Guard has rescued at least 25 people. WESH 2 reporter Paul Rivera’s cousin sent him photos of the flooding near her home.In San Juan, Maria Isabel’s college aged children are staying with family. Isabel is trying to keep in touch from Orlando."He's like 'well mom, maybe this is the last time that we get to talk.' I'm like, why? 'Because we have no power,'" Isabel said."We're still here. It had maximum sustained winds of 60 mph and was moving northwest at 21 mph.
